Incorporated in 1942, Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) is an official charity for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. AFAS helps to relieve the financial distress of Air Force and Space Force members and their families. Through its three-pronged mission, AFAS provides emergency assistance to members and their families, sponsors educational assistance programs, and offers various on-base community enhancement programs that impact member/family welfare.
